The problem and Challenge
Chien Ti Enterprise is the pioneer of R&D and manufacturing Taiwan electric scooters ad wheelchairs as well as medical assistive devices. It’s also an excellent example of traditional manufacturing industry starts implementing cybersecurity solution. Due to the increasingly cyber threats and the requirements of global cybersecurity regulations. With the supervision of Industrial Bureau, Chien Ti Enterprise has set up a special team to form a supply chain cybersecurity defense team with Billows Technology. Chien Ti has become the first successful case study from electric wheelchair &assistive equipment industry of using a comprehensive cybersecurity solution in against of supply chain attacks.
The Solution
Billows Technology has assisted Chien Ti Enterprise to execute an zero trust network and resilient supply-chain cyber joint defense demonstration of pilot project implementation. The project consists of 3 items:
1. R&D and implementation of zero-trust protection smart SOC platform includes three key points A. Implementation of multifaceted threat intelligence database, to ensure threat intelligence are staying up-to-date B. Development of a visualized dashboard of a cybersecurity combat information center as well as implementation of a proactive defense system C. Development of assets inventory and endpoints whitelist management modules.
2. Strengthening supply chain resilience and threat intelligence sharing & alerting system which includes three key points: A. Reinforcing external vendors’ supply chain security by building up a cyberattack provenance tracing joint system. B. Establishing a supply-chain threat intelligence sharing and alerting system in order to coordinate the aforementioned joint system. C. Conducting supply-chain cybersecurity maturity assessment to in the goal of carrying out effective security risk management.
3.OT computer room ISMS Prior-Period implementation & Smart supply chain pilot program verification: A. Implementing ISMS (Information Security Management System) to strengthen corporate security level B. Planning and proceeding supply chain security awareness training courses and joint security assessment C. Conducting smart manufacturing supply chain pilot project related services verification as for presenting the results.
